Job summary

Penspen is seeking a Cost Estimation Engineer to join the PMS project in Khafji, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role oversees the project controls team and supports the Project Management team on behalf of the client (KJO) to deliver the project program.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in cost estimation for EPC oil & gas projects, plus strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office. PMC exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years overall engineering experience.
• Minimum 6 years in project cost estimation for EPC oil & gas/petrochemical projects.
• PMC experience preferable.
• Knowledge of contracting types and project execution strategies.
• Experience in schedule and cost benchmarking for upstream oil & gas projects.
• Proficient with MS Office and Primavera P6.

#Penspen ww.penepen.com is looking for a Cost Estimation Engineer, to work in our PMS project in Khafji in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The role is accountable for the management of the project controls team deployed on various projects. Project control support is given to Project Management team who acts on behalf of the client (Khafji Joint Operations, KJO) and delivers the program of projects.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)

• At least ten (10) years’ experience A minimum of Six (6) years of experience in project cost estimation for engineering, procurement and construction for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects. Capable of evaluating and consulting on project cost estimation and forecasting issues and problems.
• PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
• Working knowledge of various contracting types and strategies related to project execution.
• Prior experience in schedule and cost benchmarking of oil and gas upstream projects.
• Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient. Working knowledge of Primavera P6 package.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in the appropriate field.
