Job summary

Penspen is seeking a Senior Scheduling/Planning Engineer (Offshore) to oversee project controls for the Khafji PMS program. The role manages the project controls team, monitors schedule performance, and collaborates with the client and PM teams on cost and risk reviews. Strong Primavera P6, Excel, and cost-control knowledge are essential.

PMC experience is preferred. Based in Saudi Arabia, the candidate will contribute to front-end reviews (FEL1/FEL2) and support cost forecasting and risk

Qualifications

• Over 14 years in project management, planning, scheduling, cost estimation and control on major oil and gas projects.
• PM/PMC experience at similar role is preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and Primavera P6.

We are looking for a Senior Scheduling/Planning Engineer (Offshore), to work in our PMS project in Khafji in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role is accountable for the management of the project controls team deployed on various projects. Project control support is given to Project Management team who acts on behalf of the client (Khafji Joint Operations, KJO) and delivers the program of projects.

The role will also be involved in review of early-stage deliverables (FEL1 and FEL2), as far as cost, schedule and risk is concerned, produced by KJO front end development department.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

• At least fourteen (14) years of experience of which at least ten (10) years in direct involvement in project management, planning, scheduling, cost estimation, cost and budget control, procurement tracking and monitoring / forecasting of engineering and construction activities for major oil and gas projects.
• PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
• Working knowledge of various contracting types and strategies related to project execution.
• Prior experience in schedule and cost benchmarking of oil and gas upstream projects.
• Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient. Working knowledge of Primavera P6 package.
