Job summary

Penspen is seeking a Senior Scheduling/Planning Engineer and Senior Cost Budget Controller to work on our PMS project in Khafji, Saudi Arabia. The role is accountable for the management of the project controls team deployed on various projects.

The position will also be involved in review of FEL1 and FEL2 deliverables, covering cost, schedule and risk, produced by KJO front end development department.

Qualifications

• Minimum 14 years in project management and planning.
• At least 10 years in scheduling, cost control.
• Experience in oil and gas projects.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6.
• PMC experience preferable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project controls team on the PMS project.
• Provide project control support to Project Management and review FEL1/FEL2 deliverables for cost, schedule and risk.

Penspen www.penspen.com are looking for a Senior Scheduling/Planning Engineer, Senior Cost Budget Controller to work in our PMS project in Khafji. The role is accountable for the management of the project controls team deployed on various projects. Project control support is given to Project Management team.

The role will also be involved in review of early-stage deliverables (FEL1 and FEL2), as far as cost, schedule and risk is concerned, produced by KJO front end development department.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)

• At least fourteen (14) years of experience of which at least ten (10) years in direct involvement in project management, planning, scheduling, cost estimation, cost and budget control, procurement tracking and monitoring / forecasting of engineering and construction activities for major oil and gas projects.
• PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
• Working knowledge of various contracting types and strategies related to project execution.
• Prior experience in schedule and cost benchmarking of oil and gas upstream projects.
• Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient. Working knowledge of Primavera P6 package.
