Job summary

Saut, located in Riyadh, is seeking an experienced communications professional to manage its media exposure and promote its vision to potential donors and the public.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Public Relations and at least three years of relevant experience. Fluency in Arabic and English is essential, along with strong media contacts and public speaking skills.

The role includes developing content for media, planning events, and managing volunteers.

Managing the organization’s media exposure and consistently articulating its vision and mission to potential donors and to the general public.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review content for print, electronic and social media to communicate information to members, volunteers and parents.
• Create official press kit and build media contact database, thereby raising the society’s visibility within the community.
• Develop, plan and implement lectures and other fundraising events.
• Generate news releases and communicate to media vendors.
• Prepare and provide talking points to appropriate staff and volunteers for interviews across all media formats.
• Manage and mentor volunteers and update their training materials.
• Respond to sensitive issue inquiries as needed.
• Work with departments to identify ways to use messaging to increase and retain membership.
• Support marketing and public relations efforts through research and analysis.
• Assist in the production of a magazine newsletter.
• Accept additional duties and responsibilities as directed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Communications, Public Relations; 3 years of accomplished communications experience within a nonprofit entity is a plus.
• Fluent in Arabic & English.
• Experienced in writing and distributing press releases and organizing press conferences.
