Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of accomplished communications experience within a nonprofit entity is a plus.
• Experience in writing and distributing press releases.
• Experience in organizing press conferences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review content for print, electronic and social media.
• Create official press kit and build media contact database.
• Develop, plan and implement lectures and fundraising events.
• Generate news releases and communicate with media vendors.
• Prepare talking points for staff and volunteers.
• Manage and mentor volunteers.
