Job summary

Hitachi Ltd is seeking an Senior Project Manager to lead complex, large-scale projects from initiation to closure in a multinational setting. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure on-time, on-scope delivery while aligning with strategic objectives.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies, with a focus on process improvements and client satisfaction. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's preferred.
• PM certification (PMP or PRINCE2) required.
• 8+ years of progressive project management experience, 3+ in senior role.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle for multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Define scope, goals and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed plans with timelines, resources and budgets.
• Identify and mitigate risks; implement contingency plans.
• Manage budgets and track expenses to meet financial targets.
• Motivate and lead cross-functional teams to succeed.
• Facilitate communication among team, vendors and clients.
• Present status reports and dashboards to leadership.
• Ensure adherence to Hitachi quality standards and practices.
• Drive process improvements and efficiency gains.
