Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Dammam to lead energy sector projects from initiation to closure. You will plan, execute, monitor, and close projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment while guiding diverse teams and stakeholders.

You will define scope with senior management, develop detailed plans, manage risks, and report progress to clients. Strong leadership, English and Arabic language proficiency, and a track record of delivering complex projects

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in project management, preferably within energy, power, or infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a multicultural and geographically dispersed team.
• Proficiency in English & Arabic (spoken & written) is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure activities.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans with schedules, resource allocation, and budget forecasts.
• Assemble and lead project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and performance management.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing project updates and managing expectations.
• Identify and manage project risks with mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial targets are met.
• Oversee procurement processes for project materials and services.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and best practices.
• Prepare and present project reports and documentation to senior management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
