Senior Project Controls Manager - Change Management

Job summary

Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. This role focuses on managing change across a large airport programme in Saudi Arabia, acting as the main change contact and guiding governance processes.

You will support cross-functional teams, ensure governance alignment, and contribute to carbon reduction efforts while enabling project delivery at scale.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent; progressing toward chartership with a recognised professional body.
• Experience in Change Management, PMO, Project Controls, Governance or similar functions on major projects or programmes.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional reviews, approvals and governance processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working on major infrastructure, aviation, construction or capital programmes.
• Knowledge of project controls, cost, schedule, risk and commercial management principles.
• Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of programme governance, assurance and change control best practices.
• Experience with Unifier (Preferred).
• Ability to manage multiple change requests and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business.

The Project

This is an opportunity to work on a large new build airport, that will set a global benchmark for aviation experience and aims to attract 120 million passengers by 2030 in Saudi Arabia.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Managing the day-to-day operation of the Change Management process within an assigned programme within the PMO team.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for all change-related matters
• Providing guidance to the project teams in developing, coordinating and progressing Change Requests through the governance process
• Ensuring compliance with programme requirements and alignment across all functions.

You’ll Need To Have

• Relevant degree or equivalent. Progressing toward chartership with a recognised professional body and Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business
• Administration or a related discipline.
• Experience in Change Management, PMO, Project Controls, Commercial, Governance or similar functions on major projects or programmes.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional reviews, approvals and governance processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working on major infrastructure, aviation, construction or capital programmes.
• Knowledge of project controls, cost, schedule, risk and commercial management principles.
• Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills.
