Job summary

Penspen Ltd in Al Khafji, Saudi Arabia is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead process design activities on major Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects, delivering from concept through detailed design and ensuring compliance with project standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering and has about 12 years of relevant experience, including 8 years in process engineering and Asset Integrity exposure; Saudi region experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
• 12 years of experience in process engineering for major Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects; Asset Integrity experience mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute process engineering activities on projects.
• Ensure design deliverables meet company standards from concept to detailed design.
• Apply codes and standards knowledge; use HYSYS for simulations where required.

Main Purpose of Role:

Core Engineering Role to produce the volume of engineering activities on projects and within the business as required.

Qualifications:

• MinimumBachelor's Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

Essential

• 12 years of experience; 8 years of them within the field of Process Engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects. Asset Integrity project experience is mandatory

Advantage

• Previous experience in Saudi Region

Technical Knowledge and Skills (Discipline Specific):

• Knowledge of basic engineering processes
• Familiarity with international codes, standards and engineering practices (Saudi Aramco standards exposure is advantageous)
• Must be familiar with all aspects of design from concept to detailed design
• Technical analysis of engineering problems
• Development of Process Flow Diagrams and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams.
• Hysys Simulation and H&MB development
• Must have a ability to prepare engineering deliverables as per company technical competency standards
