Job summary

Penspen is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our Al Khafji operations in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on delivering a high volume of process engineering activities across projects and the business, from concept through detailed design.

The ideal candidate has 12 years of experience, with at least 8 years in process engineering on major Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects and asset integrity exposure. Proficiency in P&IDs and HYSYS is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
• 12 years of experience with 8 years in Process Engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects; Asset Integrity project experience is mandatory.
• Knowledge of basic engineering processes; familiarity with international codes and Saudi Aramco standards exposure is advantageous.
• Must be familiar with design from concept to detailed design and able to perform engineering deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Core Engineering Role to produce the volume of engineering activities on projects and within the business as required.
• Development of Process Flow Diagrams and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• HYSYS Simulation and HMB development.

Technical Knowledge And Skills (Discipline Specific)

• Knowledge of basic engineering processes
• Familiarity with international codes, standards and engineering practices (Saudi Aramco standards exposure is advantageous)
• Must be familiar with all aspects of design from concept to detailed design
• Technical analysis of engineering problems
