Job summary

Penspen Ltd. seeks a Senior Contracts Engineer to lead contract administration for oil and gas projects based in Khafji, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will manage engineering and construction contracts and ensure contractor compliance with all signed terms.

Applicants should have extensive experience in procurement, vendor communications and claims handling. ARAMCO project exposure is considered an asset for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Administration/ Business with 12 years in project contract administration, procurement, vendor communication and contract writing skills.
• At least 10 years in contract activities for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Diploma or Equivalent with a Certificate in Contract Management with 14 years in project management, contract administration, procurement and writing skills.
• Knowledge of various contracting types, strategies, claims and preventive actions.

Job description

Penspen www.penspen.com is looking for a Senior Contracts Engineer, the position is to be based in Khafji, Saudi Arabia.

A Senior Contracts Engineer manage engineering and construction contracts for oil and gas projects. They ensure the contractor follows all signed rules. They also handle claims management (disagreements over project costs) and contract administration.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering /Administration/Business or Equivalent closely related field with Twelve (12) years of experience in project contract administration, procurement, vendor communication and contract writing skills. At least Ten (10) years in contract relevant activities for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.

OR

• Diploma or Equivalent with a Certificate from a recognized agency in Contract Management with Fourteen (14) years of experience in project management activities, project contract administration, procurement, communication and contract writing skills including at least Ten (10) years in related contract activities for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.

• Candidates should have excellent knowledge of various contracting types, strategies, claims, causes and preventive actions.
• Previous experience in ARAMCO project is an added advantage.
