Job summary

Penspen is seeking a Senior Contracts Engineer to be based in Khafji, Saudi Arabia. You will manage engineering and construction contracts for oil and gas projects, ensuring contractors adhere to all terms and handling claims management and contract administration.

Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Administration/Business or a Diploma with Contract Management certification, including extensive experience in major Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects.

Qualifications

• Must have 12 years of experience in project contract administration, procurement, vendor communication and contract writing.
• At least 10 years in contract-related activities for major Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Diploma route requires 14 years of project management, contract administration, procurement, communication and writing experience, including 10 years in relevant contracts.

Penspen www.penspen.com is looking for a Senior Contracts Engineer, the position is to be based in Khafji, Saudi Arabia.

A Senior Contracts Engineer manage engineering and construction contracts for oil and gas projects. They ensure the contractor follows all signed rules. They also handle claims management (disagreements over project costs) and contract administration.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering /Administration/Business or Equivalent closely related field with Twelve (12) years of experience in project contract administration, procurement, vendor communication and contract writing skills. At least Ten (10) years in contract relevant activities for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.

OR

• Diploma or Equivalent with a Certificate from a recognized agency in Contract Management with Fourteen (14) years of experience in project management activities, project contract administration, procurement, communication and contract writing skills including at least Ten (10) years in related contract activities for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Candidates should have excellent knowledge of various contracting types, strategies, claims, causes and preventive actions.
• Previous experience in ARAMCO project is an added advantage.
