Job summary

Tangent International seeks a Senior Core Network Engineer to drive integration, configuration, and optimization of live core networks in Saudi Arabia. The role emphasizes CS Core, signaling, routing, IMS, and 5G Core deployments to ensure service continuity and high performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive CS Core engineering and operations experience.
• Strong MSC/MSS, MGW, HLR, and HSS expertise.
• Deep understanding of telecom signaling protocols and routing architectures.
• Hands-on SIGTRAN (M2PA, M3UA) experience.
• Strong knowledge of Diameter and SIP.
• Experience implementing Intelligent Network (IN) services.
• MNP configuration and management experience.
• Proven ability to work in live telecom networks.

Responsibilities

• Integrate, configure, and modify Core Network nodes within a live production environment.
• Implement network designs and end-to-end signaling and routing solutions.
• Configure and support Diameter, SIP, and SIGTRAN signaling platforms.
• Prepare, validate, review, and execute core network configuration scripts and design templates.
• Configure and maintain MSC, MSS, MGW, HLR, HSS, GMSC, and STP/DSC platforms.
• Implement and optimize routing tables and GTT analysis.
• Support IMS and 5G Core integration activities.
• Monitor network performance, availability, capacity, and KPIs.
• Conduct configuration audits and ensure design compliance.
• Configure subscriber services within HLR/HSS including APNs and EsmContext.
• Support incident investigations and root cause analysis.
