Job summary

BEC Arabia is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to lead mechanical construction activities on large-scale projects in Riyadh. You will oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and cross-discipline coordination with engineers and subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant, and on-time delivery.

You will drive adherence to SBC and safety standards, manage risks, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with procurement and stakeholders to deliver iconic infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical construction management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and BIM tools.
• Strong knowledge of SBC and safety standards (ISO 45001, NEBOSH).
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical construction activities for large-scale projects.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, and structural engineers to integrate mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with SBC, ISO 45001, and client-specific requirements (ARAMCO standards).
• Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate delays and cost overruns.
• Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Prepare progress reports for stakeholders highlighting milestones and issues.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to align with objectives.
