Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer in Saudi Arabia to lead mechanical systems across large projects, including stadiums. You will manage conception through completion, ensuring compliance with codes, budgets, and schedules, and mentor a team of engineers and designers.

The role calls for 14+ years in mechanical engineering, with strong AutoCAD/Revit and MEP modeling skills, and preference for UPDA registration and PMC experience. Collaboration with contractors and vendors is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and professional registration preferred (UPDA).
• 14+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with construction oversight.
• Experience in stadium or large public venue projects is strongly preferred.
• Experience in PMC roles is preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and MEP modeling software for design and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of mechanical systems for projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Manage mechanical aspects from conception to completion, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Provide technical guidance in mechanical design, installation, and operation.
• Ensure quality and integrity of mechanical designs through reviews, inspections and testing.
• Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers and designers.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to procure equipment and materials.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
• Serve as primary client contact for mechanical systems, addressing concerns with technical guidance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards for mechanical systems.
