Job summary

Parsons Corporation invites applications for a Senior Mechanical Engineer - MEP Systems in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. You will review mechanical designs, coordinate with architects and other disciplines, and support testing, commissioning, and handover of major infrastructure projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Saudi Council of Engineers registration, and at least five years’ experience in design review, construction supervision, and technical site coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (mandatory).
• Minimum five years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience in design review, construction supervision, or technical site coordination for infrastructure or building projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit BIM, HVAC load calculation software, and technical engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, shop drawings, and technical documents for project compliance.
• Evaluate HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and BMS designs against standards and project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections to verify installation per drawings and quality expectations.
• Monitor contractor performance and highlight technical issues or construction risks requiring corrective action.
• Coordinate with architectural, civil, structural, and electrical teams to resolve interfaces and space constraints.
• Review contractor submittals, method statements, RFIs, and proposals.
• Support evaluation of mechanical equipment layouts and installation methods.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, inspection, and handover activities for mechanical systems.
