Samsung E&A seeks an experienced Material Control Lead to oversee material inventory, issue materials, and manage warehouse operations for oil and gas projects. You will implement robust inventory control plans, coordinate with procurement, construction, and project controls to ensure timely delivery to the job site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in procurement or a related field.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and procedures.
• Experience in oil/gas/petrochemical or power plants.
• Engineering and Construction Company working experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge on purchasing and expediting.
• Contracts and resource management.
• Material logistics.
• Supply chain management.
• Documentation and reporting.
• Understanding of products/technical drawings.
• Technical knowledge about raw materials and tools.
• Knowledge of billing practices and controls.
• Knowledge, preference and experience in MRP/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee material inventory management and issue materials.
• Implement project inventory control plans and procedures.
• Coordinate timely material delivery to site with related departments.
• Inspect material quality and manage material reception.
• Manage warehouse operation costs and lay-down areas.
• Review logistics plans with procurement and project teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Identify material requirements and initiate procurement actions.
• Apply approved material control practices and guidelines.
• Plan, schedule, and forecast material control activities and budgets.
• Confirm ESDR status and corrective actions.
• Report inventory status to the construction team.
• Verify material at each construction stage and preservation.
• Hand over spare parts to client and balance remaining materials.
• Disseminate MCM instructions to HQ and coordinate with logistics.
