Job summary

Weatherford is seeking an LWD R&M Specialist III to assist in developing reliability-based maintenance strategies for LWD tools and equipment. You will work with the Maintenance Manager and technicians to plan preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance and may visit client sites as needed to support field operations.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, refurbishment, and implementing mandatory modifications while driving safety and performance improvements across service delivery.

Qualifications

• High Diploma with relevant experience.
• 5-7 years of related experience repairing and troubleshooting LWD sensors and DS tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced repairs and maintenance on LWD tools and systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose LWD equipment with manual and computerized methods.
• Provide on-site technical support and training with field personnel.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Assist in developing and implementing maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Support design and improvement of LWD equipment based on field feedback.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote safety culture.
• Mentor and train junior technicians.
• Participate in project planning, advising on equipment selection and maintenance strategies.
• Stay updated on LWD tech advances and industry best practices.
