Job summary

Weatherford is seeking an LWD R&M Specialist II to support reliability-based maintenance strategies for our field equipment, building robust preventive programs and improving uptime.

You will perform advanced repairs and troubleshooting in the workshop, coordinate with maintenance managers and technicians, and occasionally visit client sites to support field operations and training.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, meticulous records, and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Qualifications

• High Diploma with relevant experience.
• 3-5 years of related experience on repairing and troubleshooting LWD sensors and DS tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced repairs and maintenance on LWD tools and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Conduct thorough troubleshooting and diagnostics on LWD equipment, utilizing both manual and computerized methods.
• Collaborate with field personnel to provide on-site technical support and training as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
• Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Support the design and improvement of LWD equipment and tools by providing feedback and insights based on field experiences.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
• Mentor and train junior technicians and other team members.
• Participate in project planning and execution, providing input on equipment selection and maintenance strategies.
• Stay updated on technological advancements in LWD systems and industry best practices.
