Job summary

BEC Arabia in Riyadh is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage the flow of materials, equipment, and resources for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia.

You will work with project managers, procurement, and vendors to ensure timely deliveries, compliance with Saudi customs and transportation laws, and adherence to safety standards, including ISO 45001, while driving efficiency and sustainability across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics coordination within construction/engineering.
• Proficiency in logistics software such as SAP, Oracle Transportation Management, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi customs regulations and transportation laws.
• Experience with inventory management and supply chain optimization.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 and other safety standards relevant to logistics operations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage transportation, delivery, and storage of construction materials, equipment, and supplies to project sites.
• Develop and maintain detailed logistics plans for timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Monitor and track shipments with accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with procurement to align logistics with project schedules and material needs.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with transportation providers for competitive pricing and quality.
• Ensure safety standards compliance, including ISO 45001, and promote a safety culture.
• Prepare and present reports on logistics performance and process improvements.
• Coordinate with project managers to address delays and minimize impact on timelines.
• Optimize inventory management to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Liaise with government agencies to ensure regulatory compliance (GOSI, Labor Law).
• Support sustainability initiatives with green logistics practices.
