( Full-Time, 48 hours per week )

Responsibilities

  • Survey Control: Establish, verify and maintain the project survey control network (primary/secondary control points and benchmarks) tied to the Saudi Aramco datum and coordinate system in accordance with SAES-A-100, and re-check control at regular intervals.

  • IFC Data Extraction: Extract coordinates, elevations and alignments from IFC drawings (plot plans, piping GAs and isometrics, pipe support drawings, underground piping, cable routing / trench layouts, civil foundation and grading drawings) and prepare setting-out data sheets for each work front.

  • AutoCAD Survey Model: Develop and maintain an AutoCAD / Civil 3D survey base drawing that overlays IFC coordinates on surveyed existing site conditions, to locate work areas and identify clashes with existing facilities, pipelines and buried services before construction.

  • Setting Out of Piping: Set out above-ground and underground piping routes, pipe racks, sleepers, pipe support and anchor locations, tie‑in points and equipment foundations, verify Top of Steel (TOS), Bottom of Pipe (BOP) and centreline elevations against IFC and develop in the native file using Auto Cad.

  • Setting Out of Electrical & Instrument: Set out cable routes, cable trenches, duct banks, manholes/handholes, cable tray support locations, verify trench depths, duct and tray elevations against IFC.

  • Civil & Grading Levels: Set out and check foundations, anchor bolts and embedded plates (pre-pour and post-pour), finished grade, paving, slabs, roads and drainage slopes, control earthworks levels and compaction layers.

  • Pre-Construction Surveys: Perform topographic and existing condition surveys and support location of existing underground utilities (with GPR / cable locators) as required for Saudi Aramco excavation and work permits in brownfield areas.

  • Quantities: Calculate cut/fill and earthwork volumes and other measured quantities to support progress measurement and subcontractor billing.

  • As-Built Surveys: Carry out as-built surveys of piping, supports, cable routes and civil works, prepare as-built drawings and red‑line mark‑ups in AutoCAD for handover and mechanical completion packages.

  • Discrepancies: Identify coordinate, elevation and interface discrepancies between IFC drawings and site conditions, raise RFIs / TQs and coordinate resolution with Engineering, Construction and QC.

  • Inspection Support: Participate in survey related inspections (RFIs) with Saudi Aramco PID / OID and the QC team, maintain survey records, check sheets and daily survey reports.

  • Equipment: Manage total stations, GNSS / RTK receivers and digital levels, ensure valid calibration certificates and routine field checks are maintained.

  • Hands‑on experience with total stations, GNSS/RTK and digital levels and survey processing software.

  • Working knowledge of SAES-A-100 (survey coordinates, datums and data formats) and related Saudi Aramco construction and drafting standards.
