Job summary

DAR AL RIYADH invites a skilled Survey Engineer to perform accurate land construction and indoor surveying, supporting project planning, design, execution and measurement. The role requires hands-on experience with surveying instruments and site leveling.

Responsibilities include setting-out, establishing control points, operating Total Stations and GPS/GNSS, processing data in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and coordinating with engineers and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics/Surveying; 3+ years of surveying experience.
• Valid Saudi driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
• Experience with setting-out, topographic surveys, and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Conduct topographic, construction site-leveling, setting-out and indoor surveys.
• Establish and verify survey control points, benchmarks, coordinates and reference lines.
• Perform setting-out activities for buildings, infrastructure and utilities.
• Operate surveying instruments, Total Stations, GPS GNSS, and levels.
• Record field measurements accurately and maintain survey records and notes.
• Process survey data and prepare drawings, layouts, contour maps and reports.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D or equivalent software for drafting.
• Verify dimensions against drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers, construction teams and consultants.
• Ensure instruments are maintained, calibrated and stored.
• Follow safety, quality and environmental requirements.

Job description

The Survey Engineer will perform accurate land construction and indoor surveying activities to support project planning design execution and measurement The role requires practical expertise in operating surveying instruments establishing site levels and coordinates and preparing reliable survey data and drawings

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct topographic construction site-leveling setting-out and indoor surveys
• Establish and verify survey control points benchmarks coordinates elevations and reference lines
• Perform setting-out activities for buildings infrastructure utilities and other construction works
• Operate surveying instruments particularly Total Stations GPS GNSS equipment and Levels
• Record field measurements accurately and maintain complete survey records and field notes
• Process survey data and prepare drawings layouts contour maps and survey reports
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D or equivalent surveying and drafting software
• Verify dimensions alignments levels and coordinates against approved drawings and specifications
• Support quantity estimation and measurement activities using collected survey data
• Identify discrepancies between actual site conditions and approved design documents
• Coordinate with engineers construction teams consultants and other project stakeholders
• Ensure surveying instruments are properly maintained calibrated and stored
• Follow project quality health safety and environmental requirements
• Participate in company-provided technical training and professional development activities
• Perform other surveying-related duties as required by the project

Bachelor s degree in Geomatics Engineering, Surveying Engineering, or Land Surveying with 3+ years of experience. Degrees in Geology, Geography, or GIS alone will not be accepted. Three to five years of relevant surveying experience. Valid Saudi driving licence. Willingness to travel to and work at different project and site locations as required.
