Job summary

abyatona contracting & development is seeking a seasoned Procurement Specialist for infrastructure and building projects in Saudi Arabia. You will review RFPs, BOQs, specs, and drawings, analyze quantities and material requirements, and prepare clear procurement scopes to prevent missing components.

You will identify suppliers, assess capabilities, solicit RFQs, evaluate bids for best value, and negotiate terms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; Supply Chain/Business may be accepted with strong technical knowledge.
7–10 years of experience in construction procurement, including at least 3 years handling advanced procurement responsibilities.
Experience in infrastructure and building projects; knowledge of Saudi supplier market and international sourcing.
Ability to read specifications, drawings, and BOQs and prepare technical/commercial evaluations.
Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems; strong business English; CIPS or related qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

Review RFPs, BOQs, specs, drawings, and PRs to define procurement scope.
Analyze item details: quantity, unit, dimensions, materials, and standards; identify scope boundaries.
Request quotations, evaluate technical/commercial aspects, and prepare comparison sheets.
Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery with suppliers; link payments to milestones.
Follow up on approvals, purchase orders, and conformity certificates; ensure changes have written approvals.
Monitor lead times, delivery, and receiving; resolve shortages and non-conforming items.
