Job summary

ABIS is seeking a seasoned Procurement Officer to source, purchase, and expedite materials, equipment, and services for EPC construction projects in Saudi Arabia. You will ensure timely delivery at competitive costs while complying with project specs and internal procurement procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement/purchasing on EPC or industrial construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in sourcing, negotiating, and expediting materials and services.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and prepare purchase orders for project materials/services.
• Source and obtain competitive quotations from approved vendors and subcontractors.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery aligned with the project schedule.
• Maintain procurement records, vendor files, and PO tracking logs.
• Coordinate with QC/warehouse to verify material receipt against POs and specs.
• Liaise with planning and site teams to align procurement with material requirement dates.
• Support vendor evaluation and maintain the approved vendor list.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and project requirements.
• Support cost tracking and reporting for procured materials/services.
• Resolve delivery discrepancies, damages, and supplier non-conformances.
• Support customs/import documentation coordination as required.
