Job summary

Lucid Motors in Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead end-of-line and in-process test capability for high-voltage battery packs at AMP-2. You will own test-process definition, launch support, issue investigation, and continuous improvement across production.

You will partner with local teams and US-based battery design, systems, software, and quality groups to ensure safe, reliable battery production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years’ experience in high voltage battery systems, BMS, power electronics, or similar automotive roles.
• Experience with end-of-line testing and prototype/mass manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and debug end-of-line test processes for HV battery packs.
• Perform design and process FMEA to improve test processes and identify failure modes.
• Validate integration and testing for updated hardware/software revisions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, process, and quality teams to meet engineering requirements.
• Lead root-cause analysis using fishbone and 8D methodologies to prevent production interruptions.
• Analyze fleet data to improve end-of-line tests and reduce field failures.
• Provide feedback to US engineering on progress, risks, and challenges.
• Develop on-site diagnostic capabilities in KSA for advanced investigations.
• Create analytics dashboards with data science teams to track FPY and failure causes.
