Job summary

Assystem, one of the world’s leading independent nuclear engineering companies, is seeking an experienced HSE leader for Saudi Arabia. With over 60 years in highly regulated sectors, we support complex infrastructure projects demanding high safety and security standards.

You will develop and oversee HSE plans, monitor compliance, lead risk reviews, and advise leadership on legal requirements. Strong governance, 15+ years of experience, and NEBOSH/ISO training are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, HSE, Environmental Science or related discipline.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in HSE management.
• NEBOSH IGC/Diploma and IOSH or ISO 45001/14001 training preferred.
• Saudi HSE regulatory awareness required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee project HSE plans, procedures, KPIs and compliance monitoring across applicable workstreams.
• Review contractor/consultant HSE submissions and monitor HSE performance, audits and closeout actions.
• Lead HSE risk reviews, incident reporting, lessons learned and emergency preparedness coordination.
• Advise PM leadership on HSE risks, legal requirements and required corrective actions.
• Promote a proactive HSE culture and stop-work authority where unsafe conditions exist.
