Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, IS, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of hospital IT experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Proven experience managing hospital IT operations and healthcare environments.
• Strong understanding of HIS, EMR/EHR platforms, and healthcare applications.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise IT infrastructure, servers, storage, networks, and cloud.
• Experience with healthcare system integration and data exchange.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, access management, and information security controls.
• Experience leading IT service management and operational support teams.
• Strong project, vendor, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of healthcare tech ecosystems and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage hospital IT operations, infrastructure, applications, networks, and technical support services.
• Ensure availability, reliability, performance, and security of systems.
• Oversee HIS, EMR/EHR, clinical apps and supporting infrastructure.
• Manage IT teams, assign tasks, monitor performance.
• Coordinate with clinical, medical, nursing, and administrative departments to identify technology requirements.
• Lead system upgrades, migrations, implementations, and digital transformation.
• Manage healthcare integrations, interoperability frameworks, and data exchange platforms.
• Oversee cybersecurity controls, access management, data protection, and security practices.
• Develop and implement IT policies, governance frameworks, and operational standards.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, service providers, and implementation partners.
• Monitor IT budgets, procurement activities, and technology investments.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy requirements, and organizational standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
• Prepare technical reports, management updates, and strategic recommendations for leadership.
