Job summary

BEC Arabia in Riyadh is seeking a Health & Safety Inspector to uphold top safety standards across major construction and infrastructure projects. You will work with project managers, engineers and site teams to enforce SBC, OSHA and ISO 45001 compliance and drive a culture of safety.

Ideal candidates have a 5+ year track record in health and safety on construction sites, possess NEBOSH/OSHA certifications, and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in health and safety on construction/engineering projects.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate, OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety, or equivalent.
• Familiar with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Proficiency with safety management software.
• Excellent communication and report-writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA, ISO 45001, SBC).
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols across all project sites according to company policies.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for site personnel (toolbox talks, sessions).
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to integrate safety into planning and execution.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law and GOSI requirements relating to safety.
• Maintain accurate safety records, inspection reports, training logs, and incident reports.
• Participate in risk assessments and hazard identification processes to address safety issues.
• Coordinate with external auditors during safety inspections and audits.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness at all levels and staying updated on best practices.
