Job summary

BEC Arabia is seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Project Engineer in Riyadh to lead safety planning across construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and international best practices.

You will conduct risk assessments, drive safety audits, and collaborate with project managers, site teams, and regulatory bodies to foster a safety-first culture and support Saudi Vision 2030.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or health & safety field.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent safety certification.
• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in construction or infrastructure.
• Registration with Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) or equivalent.
• Proficiency with safety management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety plans tailored to project requirements.
• Monitor site activities for compliance with SB C, OSHA, ISO 45001 and Saudi regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses and safety audits.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams and subcontractors on safety protocols.
• Lead incident investigations and implement preventive measures.
• Ensure safety training and PPE use across all personnel.
• Maintain safety documentation and regulatory compliance records.
• Collaborate with regulators and clients on project safety requirements.
