Job summary

BEC Arabia in Riyadh is looking for a Health & Safety - Senior Project Manager to lead safety initiatives across mega construction and infrastructure projects. You will oversee safety strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive a safety-first culture among project teams.

You will coordinate with engineers, site teams, and regulators to implement risk assessments, deliver training, and report on safety performance, aligning with ISO 45001, SBC, and Saudi Vision 2030.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• 10+ years of H&S management experience in construction/infrastructure.
• NEBOSH IGC or IOSH Managing Safely certifications.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and SBC standards.
• Registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Experience with risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
• Proficiency with safety management software and tools.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi labor laws and GOSI requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of H&S management systems across multiple projects.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws, SBC, and ISO 45001.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Develop and deliver safety training for employees, contractors, stakeholders.
• Monitor safety performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety into planning.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, identify root causes, implement corrective actions.
• Prepare safety reports for senior management and clients.
