Job summary

BEC Arabia in Makkah seeks an experienced Health & Safety Trainer to foster a culture of safety across construction and infrastructure projects. You will design and deliver training, ensure compliance with Saudi and international standards, and support zero-incident goals.

You will work with project teams to tailor programs, maintain records, and lead drills, contributing to safer operations on iconic regional projects aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in health and safety training in construction/engineering.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate, OSHA 30-Hr Construction Safety, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001/ISO 14001 and safety management systems.
• Familiarity with Saudi labor laws, GOSI, and SBC.
• Excellent English communication; Arabic is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office and e-learning platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive HSE training for construction and infrastructure environments.
• Conduct safety inductions for new employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using assessments and metrics; implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws, OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO 45001 across training.
• Collaborate with project managers to identify training needs and gaps.
• Maintain training records and certifications per regulatory requirements.
• Lead emergency drills and simulations for readiness.
• Develop materials (presentations, manuals, e-learning) for diverse learners.
