Job summary

IQVIA in Riyadh seeks a Senior Technical Consultant to advise on FHIR interoperability and healthcare IT architectures within Saudi health systems. You will guide cross‑functional teams to implement nphies-aligned solutions for data exchange and financial health workflows.

You will partner with clients, architects, and delivery teams to ensure secure, scalable integrations, cloud adoption, and regulatory alignment across payer-provider platforms.

Qualifications

• BSc in Software Engineering, MIS or Computer Science.
• 9+ years in Health Tech industry.
• Proven experience in healthcare IT systems (HIE, HIS, payer-provider platforms).
• Strong understanding of FHIR, HL7, and healthcare interoperability frameworks.
• Experience with solution architecture, system integration, and enterprise platforms.
• Strong background in software development (.NET, Java, backend/frontend technologies).
• Strong Oracle and SQL Skills.
• Strong project management and delivery oversight capabilities.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder communication skills.
• Familiarity with nphies platform, standards, and operational models is a significant advantage.
• Arabic Native is mandatory, Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on FHIR standards, HL7 protocols, and interoperability.
• Advise on integrating nphies requirements into existing systems.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand goals, challenges, and requirements.
• Design and review architectures for FHIR-based data exchange and nphies compliance.
• Identify opportunities to streamline operations and improve data accuracy.
• Recommend cloud-based tools, APIs, and microservices architectures.
• Work with analysts, developers, QA, and delivery teams for rollout and validation.
• Act as SME for nphies initiatives and support training sessions.
