Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Technical Consultant to act as a strategic advisor and technical expert in the nphies ecosystem within Saudi Arabia. You will guide FHIR/HL7 interoperability, design architectures for data exchange, and lead cross-functional teams to implement scalable healthcare solutions.

You will collaborate with clients to assess needs, perform gap analyses, and ensure regulatory alignment. Strong Arabic and English communication, plus 9+ years in Health Tech, are essential for success.

Qualifications

• BSc in Software Eng, MIS or CS.
• 9+ years in Health Tech.
• Experience with health IT: HIE/HIS, payer-provider.
• Strong FHIR and HL7 interoperability knowledge.
• Experience in solution architecture and system integration.
• Proficient in .NET and Java backend/frontend.
• Strong Oracle and SQL skills.
• Solid project management and delivery oversight.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder communication.
• Experience in business analysis and requirement gathering.
• Familiarity with nphies platform is a plus.
• Arabic native; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on FHIR standards, HL7 protocols, and interoperability.
• Advise on integrating nphies requirements into existing systems.
• Stay current with regulatory updates and digital health trends in Saudi Arabia.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand goals and requirements.
• Conduct gap analysis and tailor interoperability solutions.
• Test and verify production releases.
• Design and review architectures for FHIR-based data exchange and nphies compliance.
• Recommend integration strategies for HIS, HIE, payer and provider systems.
• Identify opportunities to streamline operations and reduce costs.
• Support automation and digitalization of financial health services.
• Recommend tools and technologies for scalable data management.
• Support cloud, API, and microservices adoption.
• Collaborate with BA, Dev, QA, Delivery for alignment.
• Act as SME for nphies initiatives and training.
• Support documentation and knowledge transfer sessions.
