YAX is seeking an experienced Event Manager on a 14-month contract in Riyadh. The role requires senior-level expertise, a minimum of 8 years in event management, and strong English communication to coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, scheduling, and on-site operations, with focus on safety, quality standards, and timely delivery. You will lead event teams and ensure successful execution across multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in event management.
• Strong English communication, both written and verbal.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing teams and coordinating event operations across multiple priorities.
• Ability to manage timelines, resources, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage events from concept through execution and closeout.
• Develop event plans, schedules, budgets, and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, venues, vendors, and internal teams for successful events.
• Manage event logistics including venue setup, equipment, staffing, guest flow, and on-site operations.
• Lead and coordinate event teams, assigning responsibilities and providing clear direction.
• Monitor event progress and resolve operational issues quickly and professionally.
• Ensure events follow plans, standards, safety procedures, and company requirements.
• Track budgets, timelines, resources, and deliverables, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Evaluate event outcomes, document feedback, and propose improvements for future events.
• Represent the company professionally and maintain strong working relationships throughout the project.
