Job summary

Nextera Energy in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Storage & Backup Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure team. You will manage enterprise storage environments, backups, disaster recovery, and data protection to ensure high availability and security of critical systems.

The role requires 7+ years in storage and backup administration, experience with Dell EMC, HPE, VMware, Hyper-V, and cloud storage services (Azure, AWS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of hands-on enterprise storage and backup administration.
• Experience with Dell EMC and HPE storage platforms.
• Expertise in backup technologies and disaster recovery planning.
• Experience with virtualization platforms including VMware and Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with cloud storage services in Microsoft Azure and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain storage environments (SAN/NAS/DAS).
• Manage backup systems and recovery testing to ensure data integrity.
• Troubleshoot storage and backup incidents with vendors/MSPs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and security policies.
• Maintain storage/backup documentation and report utilization and performance.
• Support storage expansion, migrations and cloud integration projects.
