Job summary

YALLO Group in Riyadh invites an experienced Backup & Storage Administrator to join our on-site IT team. The role demands 8–10 years of proven expertise in Veeam backup and storage management, including Dell EMC, HPE, and NetApp environments.

You will ensure data integrity through regular tests, maintain disaster recovery procedures, optimize storage usage, and collaborate with Level 3 and other IT teams to resolve complex issues. Shift-based work may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication and storage administration.
• Experience managing Dell EMC, HPE and NetApp storage products is required.
• Veeam certification is a plus and valued.

Responsibilities

• Backup & Storage Administration.
• Manage & maintain Veeam Backup & Replication environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Perform regular backup and restore tests to validate data integrity and availability.
• Collaborate with Level 3 support and IT teams to resolve complex backup and recovery issues.
• Implement and document backup and disaster recovery procedures in line with policies.
• Optimize backup schedules and storage utilization to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Provide training and support to Level 1 technicians.
• Configure backup jobs to meet defined policies and SLA requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to backup and recovery.
• Monitor storage systems for availability, performance, and capacity utilization.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between hosts and storage systems.
• Perform switch administration and firmware upgrades.
• Investigate and resolve storage alerts, faults and hardware failures.
• Capacity management for storage devices.

Required Technical Skill Set

Should have demonstrated experience & proficiency in managing & maintaining Veeam backup & replication, Storage administration.

Will be responsible for

• Backup & Storage Administration
• Manage & maintain VeeamBackup & Replication environments, ensuring optimal performance & reliability.
• Perform regular backup and restore tests to validate data integrity and availability.
• Collaborate with Level 3 support and other IT teams to resolve complex backup and recovery issues.
• Implement and document backup and disaster recovery procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
• Optimize backup schedules and storage utilization, reducing costs and improving efficiency.
• Provide training and support to Level 1 technicians, enhancing overall team performance.
• Configuring backup jobs to meet defined policy and provide data restore within the SLA.
• Diagnosed and resolved hardware and software issues related to backup and recovery processes
• Monitor storage systems for availability, performance, and capacity utilization.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues between hosts and storage systems.
• Perform switch administration and firmware upgrades.
• Investigate and resolve storage alerts, faults, and hardware failures.
• Capacity Management for the storage devices in the environment.

Must Have Skills:

• Must have good expertise knowledge/hands-on VeeamBackup Solution
• Hands-on experience in Storage administration of Dell EMC, HPE, NetAppproducts.
• Veeamcertification will be added value.
• Should be open to work in shifts especially Afternoon & Night shifts
