Job summary

Fluor Corp in Jubail, Saudi Arabia is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical engineering for oil and gas projects across FEED and EPC phases. The role requires extensive experience with green and brown field facilities, pre-commissioning, and commissioning support.

You will work with international clients, ensure compliance with IEE, IEC, NEC, NFPA standards, and coordinate with procurement to meet vendor requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Electrical Engineering degree.
• 15 years' experience in oil & gas FEED/EPC environments.
• 10 years with international FEED/EPC MNCs.
• Experience in green/brown field projects and pre-commissioning.
• ETAP modeling and PDP/FEED/DE electrical design.
• Ability to interpret codes (IEE, IEC, NEC, NFPA) and project standards.
• Strong scheduling, man-hour control, and progress reporting.
• Support procurement and vendor interactions.

Client is looking for Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Project Type : Oil & gas, petrochemical, fertilizer and refining

Location : Jubail, Saudi Arabia

Requirements/Qualification:

• Bachelor Electrical Engineering

• 15 years’ experience and 10 years should be with a recognized international FEED/EPC MNCs, performing electrical engineering to build green and brown field facilities in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or related chemical industry.

• Experience in the following:

• Complete project cycle (basic engineering and detailed engineering including construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning support) of green/ brown field projects is ideal.

• Resolving operational / design issues

• Electrical design specifically related to PDP, FEED & DE.

• Pre-tender stage design

• Scheduling, man-hour control, productivity and status reporting

• ETAP modeling

• He shall be up to date with the latest technical developments in the respective fields of expertise.

• Supporting Procurement in meeting clients/vendors.

• Deep knowledge of relevant international codes i.e. IEE, IEC, NEC, NFPA, PIP, standards and Industrial practices and regulations

• Capability to interpret Project standards, specifications, analyze exceptions when put up by vendors and to provide technical and engineering support to electrical issues.

• Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge is essential for handling of all the activities related to development / review of electrical engineering deliverables during basic and detailed engineering phases of major projects.
