ANDRITZ AG is seeking a Senior Technical Sales Engineer – Digital Solutions in Saudi Arabia. You will guide customers with automation and digitalization strategies, acting as a trusted technical advisor across sales, engineering, and product teams.

In this role, you will develop innovative automation and digital solutions, lead technical discussions, and drive market expansion while traveling domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Automation or related field.
• Minimum seven years in technical sales, applications engineering, automation, or digitalization.
• Strong knowledge of automation systems, process control, networking, and robotics.
• Experience with process simulation, digital twins, APC, RTO, and soft sensors.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, PLC programming, and Ladder Logic.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technically sound, commercial solutions.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical liaison between customers, sales, and engineering throughout lifecycle.
• Analyze requirements and develop automation/digitalization solutions aligned to goals.
• Provide technical support for product selection, integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and solution reviews for customers and internal teams.
• Support pre-sales activities including evaluations, quotations, and proposals.
• Collaborate with engineering/product teams to capture feedback and drive enhancements.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and growth opportunities.
• Promote digital solutions like process simulation, digital twins, and real-time optimization.
• Prepare customer-facing documents and ensure compliance with standards and safety.
