Job summary

DAR Engineering in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to lead scheduling and planning for design projects. You will develop integrated design programmes, monitor progress across disciplines, and provide early visibility to PMO leadership to deliver design on schedule.

The role requires a design engineering background with strong planning expertise, understanding interactions among design deliverables, and turning that into realistic schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (design discipline preferred).
• Professional certifications like PMP, PMI-SP or Primavera P6 are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop, baseline and maintain integrated design schedules across all disciplines.
• Break down scope into work packages and link to WBS.
• Forecast resources and track loading against the programme.
• Monitor progress, analyze variances and advise on recovery actions.
• Coordinate inputs with project managers, discipline leads and clients.
• Assess schedule impact of design changes and prepare time-impact records.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and dashboards.
