WSP in the Middle East seeks an experienced Contracts Engineer to join the Site Supervision team in Jeddah. The role covers contract administration, commercial compliance, variations, claims reviews, and contractual correspondence across major transport and infrastructure projects in the Kingdom.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of contract administration and commercial management experience.
• Extensive knowledge of FIDIC and international contract forms.
• Experience on transport, roads, highways, utilities and major infrastructure projects.

Responsabilités

• Administer construction contracts per project requirements and contract conditions.
• Review, evaluate, and process variations, change orders, claims, and extensions of time.
• Support Resident Engineer and Project Director on contractual and commercial matters.
• Prepare contractual correspondence, notices, recommendations, and reports.
• Monitor contractor compliance with contractual obligations and deliverables.
• Review payment applications and provide input on assessments and recommendations.
• Maintain records of contractual communications and project changes.
• Assist in resolving disputes and support claim evaluations.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation measures for commercial matters.
• Coordinate with project controls and quantity surveying teams to ensure consistency.
