Job summary

Sccsinternational in Riyadh seeks a senior commercial lead to oversee the commercial management of a flagship giga-project within a multidisciplinary delivery partner team.

You will manage cost planning, budgeting, cash flow forecasting and earned value analysis, and administer complex FIDIC/NEC or bespoke contracts in line with Saudi procurement law, identifying risks early and leading variations and dispute resolutions with clients and major subcontractors.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of progressive commercial management experience on large engineering or construction programmes.
• Experience working in the Gulf with understanding of Saudi regulatory frameworks and Vision 2030 dynamics.
• Degree in quantity surveying, commercial management or civil engineering; MRICS/FRICS preferred; strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial reporting: cost planning, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and earned value analysis.
• Administer complex contracts (FIDIC/NEC/bespoke) per Saudi procurement law.
• Identify and manage contractual and financial risks early in the lifecycle; develop mitigation strategies.
• Lead negotiations on variations/change orders and disputes; serve as principal commercial contact.
