Job summary

Confidential in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks an experienced Legal Consultant to deliver practical legal advice across the business, focusing on commercial contracts, risk management, governance, compliance and dispute handling.

The role requires 6–10 years of relevant experience, strong Arabic drafting, and fluent English contract skills; you will draft and negotiate agreements, support governance, monitor regulatory developments, and work with cross-functional teams to improve contract templates

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of relevant legal experience, preferably within investment groups, diversified companies, or complex commercial environments.
• Strong experience in commercial contracts drafting, review, and negotiation.
• Good knowledge of Saudi laws and regulations relevant to business operations.
• Excellent Arabic legal drafting skills.
• Strong English communication and contract drafting skills.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and governance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on business operations, strategic initiatives, and commercial matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including services, procurement, construction, leasing, partnerships, NDAs, and MOUs.
• Identify legal risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Support corporate governance, internal approvals, legal memos, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor relevant regulatory developments and advise stakeholders on their business impact.
• Support disputes, claims, and litigation matters in coordination with internal teams and external counsel.
• Prepare legal summaries, position notes, documentation packs, and case files.
• Advise on liability, indemnities, warranties, limitations, and contractual risk allocation.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Investment, Projects, HR, and Operations teams.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of contract templates, clause libraries, and legal processes.
