Job summary

WSP in the Middle East seeks a Senior Bridge Engineer to lead design reviews, supervise construction, and ensure compliance on major roads and highways projects in Riyadh. You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, perform inspections, and drive quality and safety standards on complex bridge works.

The role requires extensive experience in bridge engineering, familiarity with local and international standards, and a track record on large-scale infrastructure programs in the GCC region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with specialization in structural/bridge engineering.
• Master's preferred for advanced design responsibilities.
• Professional engineering certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 15 years in bridge/structural engineering; 8+ on major projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design review and technical oversight for bridges and related structures.
• Supervise construction activities and ensure safety and QA standards.
• Inspect works, witness tests, and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with Resident/Highway Engineers, contractors, and client reps.
• Support project delivery with schedule adherence and risk mitigation.
• Assist with contract administration, variations, and RFIs.
