Job summary

slihrms is seeking a BIM/GIS Engineer to support the implementation and management of BIM and GIS processes during the construction supervision phase of major projects. The role focuses on maintaining accurate digital models and geospatial data, and ensuring compliance with BIM/GIS standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing models, coordinating clashes, maintaining federated models, integrating field changes, and managing GIS data across project platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, geomatics, GIS, surveying, construction management, or related field.
• Professional certification in BIM, GIS, or digital engineering preferred.
• Certification in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, ArcGIS or equivalent software highly desirable.
• Training in BIM coordination, GIS applications and information management systems advantageous.
• Membership in a recognized professional engineering, BIM, or GIS organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review BIM models for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Assist multidisciplinary model coordination and identify clashes, inconsistencies, and constructability issues.
• Maintain federated BIM models throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Verify incorporation of approved design changes and field modifications into BIM models.
• Coordinate with Client representatives, consultants, contractors, surveyors, and project teams on BIM and GIS matters.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on BIM coordination, GIS activities, and digital compliance performance.
