Job summary
DAR Engineering, a leading design and engineering consultancy in Saudi Arabia, seeks an experienced Business Development Engineer focused on Power and Energy. You will identify, pursue, and close new opportunities across generation, transmission, distribution, and substations, while building strong relationships with developers and contractors.

Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of overall professional experience in engineering, design or consulting.
- 3–4 years in Sales, Business Development, or Marketing within Power/Energy.
- Strong familiarity with power generation, transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
- Proven track record securing new business with developers and contractors.
- Saudi Arabia experience and network are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in Power and Energy in Saudi Arabia.
- Develop and execute a focused BD strategy targeting developers and EPC contractors.
- Build and maintain relationships with developers, utilities, and contractors.
- Monitor market trends, tenders, and mega-project pipelines (Vision 2030).
- Lead client engagement from initial contact to proposal and negotiation.
- Collaborate with technical/design teams to reflect scope and value in proposals.
- Support positioning across project stages from planning to construction.
- Represent DAR at industry events and client meetings to boost visibility.
- Coordinate with Bid, Marketing, and Technical teams to develop proposals.
