Job summary

Systems Arabia is seeking a proactive Application Support Engineer with 3+ years of experience to ensure the stability, performance, and availability of enterprise applications across critical business systems.

You will diagnose incidents, troubleshoot across applications, databases, and APIs using SQL, monitor health, manage SLAs, and collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to deploy changes and continuously improve system reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Application Support or similar role.
• Experience providing L1/L2 support for enterprise applications.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to troubleshoot DB issues.
• Experience with APIs and integration troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 support for enterprise applications by diagnosing incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot application, database, and API issues using SQL queries and monitoring tools.
• Monitor application health, investigate performance issues, and ensure high system availability.
• Manage incidents and service requests while ensuring compliance with defined SLAs.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and database teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Support application deployments, releases, and production changes.
• Analyze application logs and system metrics to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures to improve support efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application reliability and performance.
