Job summary

POSH Saudi seeks a Crewing Officer based in Dammam to manage international crew for the POSH Saudi fleet, coordinating end-to-end crewing operations.

You will liaise with Crew Managers, ensure compliance with flag state and charterer requirements, prepare documents for Aramco submissions, and maintain crew records in COMPAS and SAP.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in marine crew management and offshore vessel operations.
• Knowledge of international crewing regulations including Flag State, STCW, ILO, and MLC 2006.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational, coordination, and administrative abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple crew movements.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Crewing Officer and focal point based in Dammam, responsible for international crew across the POSH Saudi fleet.
• Coordinate with Crew Managers and Crew Head to ensure ready crew line-ups.
• Prepare documents for Aramco submissions (PAL / FAL).
• Verify visas, certificates, training, and permits for joining crew.
• Manage full crew mobilization including sign-on/off.
• Update crew profiles in COMPAS and ensure KPI compliance.
• Coordinate pre-joining briefings with agents and shore teams.
• Work with Payroll (CRAC) to ensure timely payments.
• Arrange repatriation flights for off-signing crew.
• Perform other crewing duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

Crew Operations

• Liaise and coordinate closely with Crew Managers (CM) and Crew Head (CH) to ensure crew line-up is available and ready according to the vessel schedule.
• Prepare and arrange documents for Aramco submissions (PAL / FAL).
• Verify that all joining crew possess valid documents, certificates, and training in compliance with company, flag state, and charterer requirements.
• Ensure crew hold valid visas, work passes, Aramco IDs, and other permits required for joining vessels.
• Manage the full crew mobilization cycle, including sign-on and sign-off activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate updating and maintenance of crew profiles and documentation in the COMPAS crew management system in line with KPI requirements.
• Liaise with agents and shore teams to conduct pre-joining briefings for Indian and international crew prior to departure.
• Coordinate closely with the Payroll Team (CRAC) to ensure prompt and accurate payment of balance wages and crew claims.
• Arrange repatriation flights for all off-signing crew through COMPAS.
• Perform any other crewing-related duties assigned by the Business Unit (BU) and Function Head.

Crew Engagement

• Conduct crew briefing and debriefing sessions.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, and update crewing-related records and transactions in COMPAS, SAP, ESKER, and Purchase Order (PO) systems.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of crewing records.
• Perform any other administrative duties as assigned.
