Job summary

PaxOcean in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced commercial professional to lead strategy across ship repairs, conversions, and fabrication projects. You will develop market approaches, manage key clients, and drive revenue growth while overseeing tendering and contract negotiations in KSA.

The role requires deep Saudi maritime knowledge, SAP PM and Salesforce proficiency, and strong leadership to coordinate cross-functional teams with the PaxOcean Saudi Operations group.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of commercial experience in a shipyard.
• Strong understanding of Saudi maritime business and Middle East market.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve commercial strategies aligned with Middle East marine projects.
• Lead and execute strategies to meet revenue and margin targets for ship repairs, conversions, and fabrication in KSA.
• Build and manage vendor registrations for Marine and Offshore customers in KSA.
• Follow up with new clients to promote PFMC services and generate revenue streams.
• Prepare quotations, tenders, and commercial invoicing in KSA.
• Negotiate contracts and changes with clients and agents.

Job Summary

The role supports PFMC (Saudi) commercial operations across ship repairs, conversions and marine and offshore structural blocks fabrication segments.

Key Responsibilities

• Development / improve commercial strategies in line with the trend of marine and offshore project in Middle East, focusing on Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Take charge and execute commercial strategies to meet revenue and margin targets for ship repairs, conversions, and fabrications in Kingdom.
• Establish new clients pool and carry out vendor registration process for all Marine and Offshore customers operating in KSA.
• Follow up on all new clients to promote Supply Base capabilities and service support to bring in new revenue streams.
• Handle enquiries from customers and manage competitive quotations/tariffs for PFMC.
• Follow-up the tenders with customers and agents and negotiating the Contracts/Projects.
• Carry out estimating and commercial invoicing in KSA.
• Handle client management for PFMC and submission of work done reports.
• Work with the PaxOcean Saudi Operations team to maintain optimal critical inventory levels for materials and consumables.
• Ensure internal stakeholders adhere to and understand contractual obligations and determine when processes violate regulations.
• To be able to assess risks and make recommendations to mitigate potential risks identified.
• Provide functional and management support in the management of Change, including negotiation and settlement of Change/Variation Orders with the clients.
• Review of existing company procedures and policies on commercial management and provide constructive feedback for refining/updating of the existing procedures.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the commercial – Shipyard. (Strong grasp of Saudi Maritime Business a MUST, Middle East Centric Preferred)
• Conversant in Microsoft applications (Excel / Word)
• Conversant in SAP Project Management
• Conversant in Salesforce (Preferred)
• Team management experience
• Good leadership skills.
• Good client management and customer service skills.
