Job summary

The First Group Hospitality seeks a Security Officer to protect guests, staff, and resort property at Silver Sands Beach in Jeddah. This role involves monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and supporting an overall safe environment.

Ideal candidates are Saudi nationals with a high school diploma or security qualifications, strong communication and observation skills, and the ability to work outdoors. English proficiency is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Saudi national.
• High school diploma or relevant security qualification.
• Previous security, military, police, airport, hotel, or facility experience.
• Good communication and observation skills.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
• Basic computer and report-writing skills.
• First aid, fire safety, CCTV, or security training is an advantage.
• English language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Protect guests, employees, resort property, and facilities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, beaches, pools, parking areas, and public spaces.
• Check visitor, employee, contractor, and vehicle access.
• Operate CCTV and report suspicious activity or safety concerns.
• Respond quickly to emergencies, accidents, disturbances, and lost-property cases.
• Prepare daily security reports and incident reports.
• Support crowd control during events and busy periods.
• Assist with fire, evacuation, first aid, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain professional and helpful communication with guests.
• Coordinate with police, civil defense, medical teams, and other authorities when required.
• Follow resort security policies and work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
