Job summary

Accor in Saudi Arabia seeks a Security Supervisor to oversee daily operations across resort areas, lead a team of security officers, and ensure access control and safety protocols are followed.

The role involves monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, responding to incidents, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining accurate logbooks and handovers between shifts. Fluency in English is preferred; knowledge of local safety regulations is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; diploma or degree in Security Management, Criminology, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in security operations, preferably in hospitality, luxury hotels, or large-scale resorts.
• Prior supervisory security experience is highly preferred.
• Basic certifications in first aid, fire safety, or emergency response are an advantage.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control, and security procedures.
• Familiarity with local safety regulations and compliance standards.

Job Description

• Supervise daily security operations across assigned resort areas.
• Lead and monitor security officers during patrols, shifts, and post assignments.
• Ensure all access points, entrances, and restricted areas are properly controlled.
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and security equipment to detect and respond to incidents.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, and emergencies.
• Report and document incidents accurately and elevate issues to the Security Manager when necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of resort premises to identify safety or security risks.
• Enforce resort security policies, procedures, and access control standards.
• Assist in managing VIP guest security arrangements when required.
• Support crowd control and safety measures during events, peak periods, and special operations.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Housekeeping, and other departments for operational security needs.
• Ensure proper handover between shifts and maintain accurate logbook records.
• Conduct toolbox talks and briefings for security staff at the start of shifts.
• Ensure all security personnel are properly groomed, trained, and following standards.
• Assist in emergency response situations, including evacuations and drills.
• Monitor contractor, vendor, and visitor access to ensure compliance with security procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all guest and operational matters.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; diploma or degree in Security Management, Criminology, or related field preferred.

1–3 years of experience in security operations, preferably in hospitality, luxury hotels, or large-scale resorts.

Prior experience in a supervisory security role is highly preferred.

Basic certifications in first aid, fire safety, or emergency response are an advantage.

Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control, and security procedures.

Familiarity with local safety regulations and compliance standards.
